Manuela Leitão


Consultant to Palma Guedes Advogados since its creation, specializing in infrastructure, M&A, corporate law and contracts. With more than 10 years of practice, she has gathered broad experience in coordinating national and international projects, and negotiating highly complex contracts in different jurisdictions. She actively participates in operations and projects, assisting clients in outlining strategies, modeling and negotiations. She was head of the corporate law practice area in Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados, focusing on infrastructure projects and clients, and M&A. Manuela has also advised some of the main infrastructure and power companies in Brazil in a large number of macro operations. Her most representative experience includes advising services to the world's leading company in the steelmaking and mining industry in various international M&A and infrastructure transactions, including the acquisition of the leading producer of long steel in Mexico. Manuela holds a post-graduate degree in Business Law from the Escuela de Abogados de Madrid/Universidad Francisco Vitoria (Spain), and a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
